Bel l'hotel peccato per la posizione un po' lontano dal centro. A piedi serve una mezz'ora, in auto 10 min. poi però bisogna trovare un parcheggio e quelli a pagamento non sono a buon mercato. 7,5$ ora

Nice place to stay. Visited for a two day stay. Explored the conference room area and had a catering tasting. Everything was on par. The rooms were clean and the facilities were beautifully decorated. The halls are spacious and currently decorated for the holidays with many Christmas trees and live poinsettia plants bringing a cheerful atmosphere. The rooms were nice and clean. I would have enjoyed a soft pillow but the ones they provided were okay. Loved loved loved the lighting in the bathroom for makeup. Beautiful views from the guest rooms and nice common areas for gathering or lounging. Parking options included self park and valet with relatively low daily rates. It was about 30 minutes to the airport in traffic, pretty good.

Yeah I would definitely look around for another place before staying here as it is not up to Marriott standards. I had to get a different room as ours had water standing in the window and mold. Room smelled stale and moldy. Took multiple times asking for a new room until finally given one.
These pictures are from 6:30 am where I guess no one cleans up after the previous night parties before. The coffee shop had a big water puddle that the worker simply walked right by. Spills, stains in the elevator. As I’m writing this the sitting area is getting cleaned but at opening time, it’s too late, should have been done before guests arrive. Has got to be a manager issue as the workers are literally all in a bad mood. Marriott you really need “secret stayers” to help you judge your facilities. Use your guests that have a lot of points and offer them something for their opinions of upcoming stays at various locations. You don’t want whiners but you do need real people. You would get the results for only your eyes and you could weed out the reviewers.

My wife and I visited MUSC and stayed at the Charleston Marriott. We found the staff very helpful from valet, to front desk and in the restaurant the night before our appointment. ||The room was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. We had access to the Concierge Lounge up in the Penthouse. Really beautiful to have our coffee and breakfast from the top floor on the outside patio. ||Access to the hospital was very easy, only 5 minutes away. ||Thank you all for the hospitality!

We were so happy we choose the Marriot for our Charleston visit. We had a river view that was amazing. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodations were clean and well maintained. The location was perfect to easily go to any destination we wanted and it also was quiet and roomy. The room was big and the bed very comfortable. The only complaints we had were the size of the bathroom and the extremely loud fan noise in the bathroom. I was surprised how small the bathroom was. It was a little challenging for one person to maneuver getting showered and dressed and there's no way two would fit. None of this would stop me from returning to this Marriot.

Very nice hotel. If you can afford to get the concierge please get it! They have sodas, waters, a lounge, hot breakfast and hot food in the evening. Beware you have to pay for parking which i feel is crazy when you park your own car.
