It's difficult to describe the feeling of staying in a Club Level Room here at the R-C Atlanta. The intangibles are too numerous to mention. The staff really do go out of their way to make things special, even for a simple one-night holiday stay.||The rooms are impeccable. One thing I would like to address that I see frequently in other reviews--the bathrooms are indeed small. There's literally no way around this; this building is one of the oldest of the modern R-C properties. You can't enlarge the bathrooms. If you have a QQ room, you will have a bathtub with marble tiles. If you have a K room, you will have a nice, updated walk-in shower. But what they lack in size, they definitely make up for in amenities. Rain shower head, first-rate shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner, as well as an assortment of toiletries such that anything you may have forgotten is covered and then some. The beds are feather topped and the Frette linens are sumptuous. There's a Nespresso machine in each room for really good morning coffee.||The Club Lounge offerings are definitely getting better again; last time we stayed, it was during Covid, and the selections were more limited. We were impressed with the luch, hors d'eouvres, the homemade cookies, and especially the breakfast this morning on Christmas. The staff were super attentive and everything was near perfect.||We opted for a simple burger out for dinner with a friend at the Hard Rock, so I can't comment on the hotel's restaurants, but if you do yourself a favor and stay on the Club Level, you can pretty much stay there and enjoy!

came here for a few days and the concierge said that our room would be ready in about half an hour and they would text us turns out it was three hours later. they also said it was likely our room would be upgraded and then when it wasn’t, they didn’t say anything about that at all very poor communication in that regard.
We ended up eating at the Atlantic Grill restaurant that is located within the hotel while waiting for our room to be ready. Very limited options to eat for protein variation. my Caesar salad was great. So tasty!
Service is great across-the-board everyone from Valet parking to concierge, receptionists, bell boys, restaurant servers, hostess, bartenders. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The lobby bar had live music on Friday night, which was pretty cool.
for me, the room was pretty outdated. The coffee machine is pretty useful. We use that but the room does not have an empty fridge. Only the mini bar that’s stocked, and you cannot use it obviously for your own things just pretty annoying. It’s time for them to step it up it’s been the same for a bit now.

So it could all be coincidence or a series of unfortunate events but a few things went wrong.
Mini bar - was broken in our room. The fridge didn’t turn on and when you opened it, it smelt stale or moldy and was super warm. We called the concierge and asked if they could fix it or replace it so we could have cold beverages. They said they would but never did.
Late check out- I get guaranteed 4pm checkout through my credit card which they confirmed upon check in. On the final day housekeeping knocked on our door 4 different times within an hour. We explained each time that we have late check out at 4pm but kept coming back. We tried calling the concierge each time to confirm but it kept ringing and no one picked up all 4 times. I eventually called room service and asked if they could get a hold of someone and they were able to get someone to answer. Although the checkout time was discussed when we arrived at the hotel, it was never noted.
Check-out - we ordered a lot of room service and ate at the restaurant throughout our stay. I had like $465 worth of hotel credits so charged up a lot. At check-out I asked for a printed copy of my bill and they only showed like $130 worth of charges and had charged my credit card on file instead of applying all the credits. They had already caught the mistake but now I need to review my credit card to confirm they refund the charges. They also have no idea where all my other charges went so will need to review and get back to me. I have no idea if I actually owe anything or had remaining unused credits and neither do they.
Concierge - we called a few times, when the fridge was broken, when housekeeping came to us 4 times within the hour, when we were trying to get recommendations to nearby restaurants, to get the code to the telephone bar nearby, to get a summary of the charges to my room, and not once did they answer. These were over the four days at various times but not once did they answer or call back. Most of the time we gave up, had to call in room dinning, or head to the lobby to talk to someone. Probably 8-10 calls and not a single answer on the first attempt.
For positives: The hostess, I can’t remember her name but I think she had an accent or braids? She was there most days for the restaurant was lovely! So kind and caring, went above and beyond. The valet and workers at the coffee shop were also great.

The Ritz-Carlton definitely lives up to the hype. Opulence, elegance, and service are common staples of the perfect 5-star experience that I would expect. However, what I was shocked to also be 5-star was the valet experience. ||||My experience with valet was AMAZING! The staff was VERY fast, professional, and safe with my car. This was one of the most well-run valet operations that I have experienced at a hotel. I actually had an opportunity to share my feedback with Ron, who I believe was the valet manager. ||||Keep up the great valet, Ritz!

We stayed here on a trip with the kids. It’s an older hotel but it has a great location and the amenities were great and really enjoyed the Mexican restaurant next door. The rooms were very spacious and they were clean and the staff took care of everything

It’s the Ritz. Always great. Room 801 fridge was broken - and coffee machine was impossible to operate. But lobby coffee was great. Highlight of the stay was a musician (Cooper). Great music and not too loud. Perfect balance to add value to the experience and focus on the guests rather than make it “his stage”. Don’t lose this guy to another hotel.
